Our purchasing department ensures that all products we sell comply (when applicable) with:

-CE Standard: CE is the abbreviation of the words "Conformité Européenne" (European Conformity). When the CE marking is affixed to a product, it constitutes a declaration by the manufacturer that the product meets the essential requirements of European legislation concerning health, safety, and environmental protection.

-ROHS Directive: The 2002/95/EC directive on the restriction of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. It is a directive that, although commonly known as the "lead-free directive," actually restricts the use in the manufacturing of products of a series of substances considered polluting to the environment (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, etc.). If a product complies with the RoHS directive, it means that the use of these polluting materials has been limited as much as possible during its manufacturing process.
